The evolutionary dynamics of plant mating systems: how bias for studying′ interesting′ plant reproductive systems could backfire
We present an updated dataset of 6,781 angiosperm species from 212 families with known mating systems. We show that, based on this information, we may be mis-estimating the frequency of selfing and mixed-mating in angiosperm.
